1. Can more than one copy of the same Report, Form or Tool printed to File in .pdf format exist in the C:\Real Estate Real Easy\Output directory?

The program automatically overwrites a Report, Form or Tool printed in .pdf format with the same file name. When a Report, Form or Tool is printed to File it will overwrite any previous report with the same file name. To save a .pdf Report, Form or Tool file use Windows Explorer and move the file to a different folder.

2. Why won't the program install and run on my computer?

There could be several reason including not enough disk space, ram or not having full Administrator rights. You must be logged onto Windows with full administrator rights and privileges to install and run Real Estate Real Easy (if you have never changed user or login settings on your computer this requirement should not be an issue). With the single-user license, Real Estate Real Easy will run only with the user / login settings as installed.

3. What is grid navigation

The small module icon in the upper left hand corner of a grid. Select the desired row then select the grid navigation icon. Its a quick way to navigate to the related record. Grid navigation is used in the Prospects, Servicers, Forms, Contracts, Schedule and Accounting modules.

4.. The fonts in Real Estate Real Easy don't display correctly on my monitor?

Your monitors font size might be set to high. Follow these easy instructions to change your Font and DPI settings. Place your cursor in an empty portion of your monitor and right click on the mouse to open the Windows Display Properties dialog window. Select the Appearance tab and set the Font size to Normal. Select the settings tab then select the Advanced button to open the display driver dialog window. Select the General tab and set the DPI setting to Normal size (96 DPI).

5. How do I uninstall the Real Estate Real Easy program. My computer's operating system crashed or there was a power failure while installing the program. I need to uninstall then re-install Real Estate Real Easy.

Select the Windows Start menu. Select Control Panel. Select Add/Remove Programs. Remove the following 3 listed programs: dBase PLUS Runtime Engine, pdf995, Real Estate Real Easy. When you have successfully uninstalled these three programs re-boot your computer before re-installing the Real Estate Real Easy program

6. Can I print (create), PDF documents from any of my other installed applications?

Yes, after Real Estate Real Easy is installed the ability to print any document in the .pdf format from any other applications is available on your computer. From any program select to print. In the Print Setup dialog window select the Specific Printer option then select the pdf995 print driver in the pull down list. A document printed using the pdf995 print driver creates a .pdf document. The document is automatically saved in the C:\Real Estate Real Easy\Output directory

7. How can I be sure I am not making a conflicting appointment. How do I open the Day Viewer from the Prospects, Servicers, Forms and Contracts modules?

Select the Date button on the program tool bar to open the Calendar Tool. Click on the desired date in the Calendar Tool and the Day Viewer opens to display that day's appointments. You may select any date on the Calendar Tool to view appointments for that day. If you elect to set a reminder or recurring schedule for the new appointment, the Recurrence dialog wiindow will display a conflicting appointment warning if the new appointment conflicts with an existing appointment.

8. How do I enter text in the comments area of the Fax or Quote Request Form?

From a Prospect or Servicer record select the Print button on the program tool bar. On the Form tab select the Fax or Quote Request row. The Text button is now enabled. Select the Text button to open the comments area in text window. Enter the comments then select the OK button. Select the Print button to print the Fax or Quote Request with the comments just entered in the Text dialog window. A Fax or Quote Request Form printed from a Prospects or Servicers record auto fills the name, address and phone/fax number fields.

9. What is Content Sensitive Help?

Select the Help button on the Program Tool Bar to open help specific to the window currently open in the program. Select a field, section or button in the Help image to display immediate help for that field, section or button.
